Ready for the cold
Winter in Kibber is serious, so the house is ready for it: heated spaces, hot water, power backup and, above all, the beds.
7 layers in every bed
The traditional Spitian stove keeps the house warm through the long winter evenings.
Electric heaters in the bathrooms take the edge off the coldest mornings.
24 hours from April to September; in winter, three buckets per room daily, complimentary, from October to March.
A sunlit lounge where you can sit comfortably while it drops towards −25 °C outside.
